GPU server migration

Move your GPU servers out of the office.

Office power, heat and noise cap what a GPU server can do. We plan the move, get it to Yotta in Navi Mumbai or Greater Noida, rack it and bring it back online.

Signs it’s time

You’ve outgrown the office if…

An 8-GPU server can draw around 10 kW and turns nearly all of it into heat. Offices weren’t built for that. Why.

The move

Five steps, one team.

Nothing ships until the rack, power and network at the destination are confirmed for your exact servers.

  1. Audit

Inventory each server: model, GPUs, power supplies and connectors, peak draw, network interfaces, storage and what runs on it.

  2. Plan

Pick the site, agree the rack and power, plan IP addressing and choose a maintenance window your users can live with.

  3. Pack and move

We coordinate packing and transport, or receive a shipment you arrange. Condition is recorded on arrival.

  4. Rack and test

Racked, cabled, powered from separate feeds where the server supports it, and tested against agreed checks.

  5. Hand over

You get remote access, the equipment record and one escalation path. Your workloads come back online.

Arrival

Received, checked, racked.

Crates come in through the facility’s receiving bay. Each server is unpacked, its condition recorded against your inventory, and only then racked and powered.

Getting a plan

What to send us.

A spreadsheet or a photo of the rack labels is fine. We’ll ask for anything missing.

Migration questions

How much downtime does a move take?

It depends on distance and how many servers move together. We plan around one agreed window per batch and tell you the expected offline time before you commit.

Does moving affect my warranty?

Usually not, but check your OEM terms. We record the condition of every unit on arrival and keep the packing and handling documented.

What happens to the data on the drives?

It stays yours. We don’t access your systems. If your policy needs it, enable disk encryption before the move.

Can you move servers from another data centre?

Yes. The steps are the same; the audit also covers your current contract’s exit terms.
